I am Akshee Batra, a final year medical student at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India.  I have completed my clinical clerkship in medicine with honors and have research experience from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I have a profound interest in XYZ ( eg. Cardiology) and wish to pursue my post-graduation studies in this field.

I want to undertake a Clinical Elective for a period of 4 weeks during the month of February,2019 under the able guidance of Dr. Faculty Sponsor who has agreed to be my sponsor during this time frame. It would be a great privilege for me to have this great learning opportunity. I’m confident and would give in my best to be an asset in the team.

Kindly consider my application for the clinical elective program. Attached herewith is a copy of my Curriculum Vitae, USMLE STEP1 score, Letter of Recommendation, Personal Statement and Toefl Score. I shall work unpaid during this period and bear my travel, accommodation and other expenses during the stay. Looking forward to your reply.

UAB elective is a first come & first serve kind of elective rotation. After you fill application, they send you an email to choose specialty and date from open slots.
